St. Lawrence Market: Reimagining Digital Presence is a UX/UI and content strategy project focused on modernizing the online experience of one of Toronto’s most historic public marketplaces. The project examines how digital platforms can better represent the market’s cultural identity, diverse vendors, and community-driven atmosphere while improving accessibility, navigation, and user engagement for both locals and tourists.
Through research, interface redesign, and experience mapping, the project explores how storytelling, visual hierarchy, and structured information architecture can transform a traditional marketplace into a more connected digital ecosystem. The redesign emphasizes discoverability, mobile usability, and immersive presentation, aiming to bridge the gap between the market’s rich physical atmosphere and its online presence. By combining heritage-inspired visual direction with contemporary UX principles, the project reflects an approach that balances historical authenticity with modern digital interaction.
